Hugh,

John Pollock also wrote a larger, related book called A Cambridge Movement.

C. T. Studd is my hero and I've gotten my hands on everything I could that's been written about or by him. In addition to the excellent biography of him written by his son-in-law Norman Grubb there is another, newer, biography written by Eileen Vincent called No Sacrifice Too Great. It's available from WEC Canada (and probably WEC England) on their Web page:

http://www.wec-canada.org/bk-list.php

Fool and Fanatic? is another good book taken from C. T. Studd's letters.

Here are some other rare C. T. Studd resources available online:

To the Soldiers of God Going or . . . Gone to the Heart of Africa
http://www.zpress.org/newsletter/view_article.asp?ID=62&CID=5

"World-Wide War . . . Real and Sham"
http://www.zpress.org/newsletter/view_article.asp?ID=79&CID=6

Christ’s Etceteras
http://www.zpress.org/newsletter/view_article.asp?ID=165&CID=9

The D.C.D. (in two parts)
http://www.zpress.org/newsletter/view_article.asp?ID=130&CID=12
http://www.zpress.org/newsletter/view_article.asp?ID=141&CID=13

"Our Bit" Let's do it Quickly
http://www.zpress.org/newsletter/view_article.asp?ID=102&CID=8

“The Gates of Hell Prevailing.” Why? And How To Close Them
http://www.zpress.org/newsletter/view_article.asp?ID=150&CID=14

For the Shame of Christ
http://www.zpress.org/newsletter/view_article.asp?ID=119&CID=10

The Laugh of Faith (in two parts)
http://www.zpress.org/newsletter/view_article.asp?ID=204&CID=17
http://www.zpress.org/newsletter/view_article.asp?ID=219&CID=19

You may also be interested in a book called My Dear C.U.M.B.: Norman Grubb's Letters To The Cambridge University Missionary Band 1922-1989 since you're involved with a Christian Union. This book is available both as an e-book and a paperback from:
